Sorry about ditching out at Terra Cotta on the way back, I thought you guys were going that way. Its kind of a good thing though because Winston Churchill was blocked by police just outside of Norval because of a wreck so I had to go across to trafalgar.

No problem. Right choice. Much more fun that way then MIssissauga Rd straight south. (specialy if you are going to Oakville)

Yea i saw you turn right, slow down and start frantically waving your arm around. Thought you where just saying goodbye *laughs*

We all went our seperate ways shortly after that anyway, so no big dramas.

I got my confirmation through for the track weekend that cutekill was telling us about! 31/7 && 1/8 i'll be doin a shamefull attempt at fangin a zx6r around a track! If anyone else is keen heres the link

My current plan is to ride up 30/7th, either early morning n do some riding on the way n around the bogie area if anyone wants to come, or just slab it friday avo if im doin in lone-style. Staying in a cheap motel/hotel n ridin back sunday after the track day ends.

Its gunna be a blast, feel free to join me!
 
^^^ I am probably going to do turn 2 this year, I'll let you know if I end up at this weekend or another one.

Hey AR,

I'd love to ride up with you, but I'm going to be out of town this weekend. Also, I'll be on vacation until early July, so I'm going to miss the next few weeks.

Catch up with you boys in early July.

As long as it has some nice twisty roads and places where you can all pull over and wait for me to catch up ;) i'm keen

Managed to pick myself up a 2nd-hand double-bubble screen, need an excuse to see if it makes a difference at speed!

Tried to test it in the city and almost ran over a few jay-walking police
lmao should have seen the looks on their faces :lol:
 
Its a bigger screen and tinted, rather than the mini-one my bike came with. Its still not a nice touring screen like yours rick, but should atleast be better!

Try and keep a little more of my large frame out of the wind!

Keep in mind that for me (02 CBF F4i with a ZeroGravity Double BBL Light Smoke) I get alot more wind blast towards my head at low speed, but in a semi tuck it is better. I am 6'3
 
Yea,

I have a sneaking suspician that the screen may do a great job of deflecting the wind blast from my chest right onto my noggin. Although im only a shorty @ 6 foot so might be able to get away with it!

Seems to be having some effect, the bike at city speed feels like its going slower than before (speeding ticket here i come!) which im guessing is the wind goin over me rather than slammin into me.

Need to get it out on the highway to see if it really makes a difference.

lol @ just stop eating. Too late! the screen is paid for and the foods all gone :o)
