was a good ride for the most part. ended up in the port dover area. weather was good, nice and sunny all day.

Got as far out as Port Burwell and then to Tillsonburg and back, the view along the lake was incredible. Great weather, some nice roads I hadn't seen before.

I seriously need a mount for the gps though.

It's a good ride, nice scenic, twisty route thanks to N3wman, just a bit cold at the end of the ride.

K so jus got in 15 mins ago and am now warming up! I had to stop in Brampton to warm up before the really cold trek north of the GTA.

Greetings Streetsville Riders,

Long time and lots of "new" regulars.

During the last half of the riding season, I've basically been MIA and able to get out only for short boots around town, e.g. to the beer store, on the Bandit 1250 "grocery getter" (apologies to Red, Rick, ARob, Babow).

Rick - that was me waving to you on Erin Mills Pkwy. S. on Wed.

I know you boys did a ride up to 507 earlier in the season and I had heard about a few guys getting killed up there, most recently 43-year-old Konstantinos Ververidis of Mississauga.

Anyway, I took a solo ride up there last Sunday to see what the fuss was all about and it's easy to see how one could get into trouble taking those 60 & 70 km/h corners at speed. Very cool riding back eastbound when the sun goes down. Brrrrr.

Lately, I've been watching "Twist The Throttle" on Discovery, which showcases the major bike manufacturers. Here's the online link:
