I think you probably nailed it i.e. power lifter. Too much definition to be just some slob letting himself go (and yeah, I'd probably hesitate a moment before picking a fight with him, boy looks like he can pack a punch).

You can't steal something that ain't mine... and I can't afford a woman without giving up Racer5 (and hopefully track-days to follow), the Jeep, the new car, hunting, shooting, etc... all the stuff I couldn't afford when I was dating.

Truth.
With all the bs involved with someone else being involved, lost personal time, lost spare income, and dealing with their ****, why give up all my time to do whatever the hell I want, with who I want, blow my money on what I want etc.
not like I haven't tried, I was engaged and thankfully she showed me her colors before it was too late, just living the easy life now.

All my married friends are somehow in debt, have no time for anything and basically have a boring life. Every weekend I'm at the track and theyre home watching the kids.

I just picked that pic to bust stevex's balls a bit. Something makes me think as jacked as he was in the pic he posted, the pic I put up is a huge downgrade. I'm not saying the guy in the pic I put up is in bad shape, just not ideal.

Sadly enough my ex-g/f had her own income too, so she paid for some stuff... so HOW do I have more money now?

And I was (am) in the same boat... I was in the process of buying a ring, and less than two months from proposing, and she ended it. I was depressed and angry and meanwhile, she moved onto the next relationship like nothing happened. When I find a woman worth dating, I'll date. Until then, my Jeep, bike, car, activities and friends all take up more than enough time! My friends and family call it a mid-life crisis (which shouldn't happen for another 10-15 years), but I call it living!

Lol dude, I'm with ya. I was asked this morning by a buddy "What about a woman with all your racing?" My answer was "when I find a girl that can make me want to skip a weekend at the track then I know she's worth dating". Pretty good system, and life is pretty stress free!

Opposite situation over here. You just have to find the right woman. I got married out of university and all I wanted to do was to get cool stuff like a new computer, new car, etc. (I wasn't into bikes at the time). My wife convinced me (kicking and screaming with lots of arguments) that the lifestyle I wanted wasn't the right path to follow. I guess some would call that whipped, lol!

Well, a number of years later the fruits of our labour are starting to show. We don't have the biggest house, but we have a house. I don't have the latest/greatest motorcycle, but we have 2 bikes in the stable. We don't have a cool car, but we have a car. We have lots of friends and have lots of fun. And you know what else? I'll be retired while you guys are still paying for your toys to maintain your great lifestyle :P . Also, she got me into motorcycles. All that because I married the right woman! :p
 
I'll be retired at 47 with a good pension and all my toys, and with a university level education and capable of making 6 figures a year as a civilian, if I stick with this so I'm doin' not too bad!
I obviously don't want to do it alone, but I'll make the best of it until someone shows up!

what Wobbly said. Just need to find a chick that complements your lifestyle rather than hinders it. Obviously, there will always be some compromise but I firmly believe that you can have your cake and eat it too - if you have equal amounts of patience, persistence, and luck
