I was doing my masters at queens (finance) so I would park there on weekends.
Update:
After 6 days building finally went through the 5 days of footage and found a white Chrysler van "piggy back" off other vehicles and when in and out of the building multiple times and spent a few hours at a time in the building. Not sure why.
I have the plates of the van.
It's because of the OPCF 19. You should have had to sign a form for that. Ask for a copy of the signed endorsement if you don't have one. If you signed it than too bad, you're sunk. If you didn't than I say fight it and go to the ombudsman. The onus is on the insurer to ensure that you are made aware of all coverages (especially ones that limit the policy). If you didn't sign the 19 form you may have a case to say that your insurer didn't do enough to advise you of the limits. Unless they have really good notes on file to support that they did, you might be able to get the full 6625.
Worth a shot anyway.
They sent me the signed copy of the form. GREAT
Initially I was told that payout is the lower of (Value of Bike - Deductible) or 5,000.
Now insurance is telling me that 5,000 - deductible (500) = 4,500 is my entitlement.
My policy has no deductible on "total theft", hmmmmmmm. Now insurance is telling me that 5,000 - deductible (500) = 4,500 is my entitlement.
I do. Quebec pays way less then Ontario because we have physio, income replacement, torte claims etc. our accident benefits are out of hand and people fake injuries to get a big payday. Now lets say Ontario got rid of most of this bs accident benefits, our premium will have to go down.
My policy has no deductible on "total theft", hmmmmmmm.
LOL... so naive. We've been getting accident benefits cut every year in Ontario, for short premium drops, then they boost it every other year again.
Ontario needs government insurance like other provinces and kick these parasites out of work.
