Stolen bike registry

Mine got stolen the other day. CRF250L. I reconstructed the theft on video using the cameras around the condo building. It's kind of interesting to watch, even though it sucks having the bike stolen. You can see one of the thieves quite clearly in the video.

depends what type of bike
super sports I think mostly stay around
appearance may be changed a bit
but often there's a dirtbag bombing around on it with a stolen plate
Harleys I think tend to get shipped out of country or chopped for parts
dirt bikes are gone to the sticks, likely never to be seen again
Buddy got his Vespa p200 stolen today around Castlefield and Caledonia.

Sometime between Sunday night and Tuesday morning a black Kawasaki ZX6R got stolen in area of Richmond/Spadina in Toronto.

I got some footage. Anyone knows this guy?
He rode it away? That's a new one. Any idea how he started it? He was hanging out in the building for 40 minutes. I guess nobody watches the cameras?
What happened to the bicycle? Probably stolen but should be covered in prints. Interesting that there is a lock on the handlebars.

Looks like buddy was targeted, he came ready with a helmet. Probably went straight to the bike.
Did you have any other anti-theft measures? Disc Lock? Big *** chain and lock? steering lock engaged? TBH for a bike like that I would have gotten everything under the sun to secure it.
I'm always afraid the ONE NIGHT I leave either my disc lock off or my steering lock not engaged it will get stolen... So I do it all the time

I have insurance. That is only lock they can not bypass. He left his bicycle in the garage locked to the wall. Maybe he will come get it later.
As for starting the bike I found some broken plastic cover where the bike was. I guess that steering lock was forced.

it's a nice bicycle, I can see why he would lock it up ... leave him the lock with a note attached!
It is stolen as well, I will see if cops want it if they come around. I am contemplating putting second lock on the bike.
GPS tracking bug would be nice too...
