I waited for the last two after the Mansion sub division. The gent on the older Triumph decided he couldn't keep up and parted ways. Tried catching you guys in Beaverton but no signs of anyone. We headed up to 35 but the white monster got a flat before Minden.
I didn't even realize the guy on the Triumph had joined the ride! I thought Sonny was the White Monster??? Anyway, I hope the guy on the ducati made it home OK. (Just realized that my tire repair kit has been left on the other bike all this time.)...... The gent on the older Triumph decided he couldn't keep up and parted ways...... I'm glad you did up your helmet! It was a pleasure riding with you again. I'm afraid you and I are just getting older while Sonny, Osiris and Russell just get younger and faster, although selling the FZ1 probably didn't help.Enjoyed riding with the the group again after takng last season off. Could totally see your arse clench in your new sexy pants in that last sweeper!!! You know I immediately flashed back to the gas station and me saying "Hey, we haven't seen a cop all day." and our immediate realization I had just jinxed us. I'm pretty sure his radar just said "EFF IT".
Yeah, major bummer that I got a flat! I got home ok. Tow truck came a short time after I called, and had an amusing chat with him on the drive back to TO.
Big *thank you* to Chris (breyton) for turning back to make sure I was ok! Thanks, Chris! Hopefully, I'll be able to join you guys next time.
Awesome ride once again!
Unfortunate that we got a bit split up....
Amazing new roads Derek!!
Dave, Russell, and Derek thanks for leading!!!!
Jason and Paul....great pace!!!!!!!!
SiTG.....Riding strong and looking cutting edge doing it.....
Great to see the "father" of it all again. And excellent ride everyone.
Looking forward to the next one, but will be in three weeks for me
See you all then.
Shhhhh! You gonna wake up the devil.....:lmao:Enjoy Pennsylvania and the not so new new bike. I am hoping to get back to PA soon. (next time I'll avoid the Four Loco and I'll take Halo for a walk...LOL)
In about 3 weeks I will be heading down to Blue Ridge Parkway so I'll see you when I get back.
Safe travels.
Saturday 9am ish. Stands up at 9:30 sharp. (Once I get a better look at the route for the day this may be moved to a 9am depart.)
Meet at Aninnas Bakery here (15mins from Famous Sams)
This will be a looong day. I'm guessing about 12 hours with a few stops for coffee and a nice lunch.
This may be the last Muskoka run of the year for me as I would like to do a fall ride to PA, and with BRP in a few weeks.....
PM or post if interested or have any questions.
Weather forecast has taken a turn for the worst tomorrow. Going to be cold in the morning and early evening. (The long term forecast shows some signs of hope for the following weekend.)
We could still do a decent ride tomorrow but won't get as far or be out as long.
So change of plans...
Meet at Anninas at 10-10:30ish depart around 10:45.
Route to be determined so come early and voice your opinion over coffee and a sandwich!
Again, PM or post if interested.
