Still in the Game Rides!!

Greetings Gents! Glad to see the SiTG Crew is still 'Keepin it Real'!!!!!!
Looking forward to riding with some old faces and new ones! Kiddies are a little older which should translate to a bit more riding time!
Hopefully, we can plan and execute a decent ride to PA this year.
I'm riding in Colorado and Utah May 26- June 9 (with Dave and few others); anytime after that I'm up for it!

As long as you buy lunch, you can say what you want or will say. I'm debating on trading the S1000RR for something newer...more reliable.

Osiris! Nice to see you back. I hope all is well.
Sooooo looking forward to the Colorado trip with Koval and crew, and hopefully I can be part of PA or VT trips later this season.
I made a mess of my knee during the hockey season and have put the surgery off until after the Colorado trip so I am going to have to make each ride this season count!

I have a spare Bandit now.....Not asking much $$, torque is cheap!:evil3:

(Does anyone have the same bike as the last time we met???)

Don't worry,Dave! Go to the physio at least twice a week after the surgery and you will be back in the saddle in no time. Because Cipi is missing out on Colorado/Utah trip, there will be another longer trip later in the season. He really wants to go back to the Smokey's, so lets see if we can pull that off?!

man don't do your knee until fall...you will be off for many many months. A guy I know couldn't bend his knee for 2 years after the surgery.

Congrats Buddy!!!!!!!! Awesome news!!!!!

+1! Great news Owen! Have fun and you always know where to find us if you want to meet up even if it is to just get out for a coffee and to say hello.

The time you are putting in now will help ensure a happy, healthy little one that isn't as mad as s.t.b. when they grow up! LOL

Thanks, I know what you mean. The Doc is saying worst case scenario is 2 months in a splint with no weight on it. Best case is walking the next day and 5-6 weeks for full recovery. I had the other knee done years ago and I walked out of the hospital, and that knee is the best part on me.

checking in.

I remember this thread ...

maybe I'll get a chance to get out this summer - in between changing diapers - I doubt it ... we will see...

I think if your worried about having to change diapers during a ride you are officially no longer "Still in the Game" and might want to consider Incontinent Riders Section....

Congratulations BTW...

Well I was sent to boarding school when I was 8 years old...you mean mad as in angry or mad as in crazy cause I ain't angry....

Ya ya..enough about the knee...when are you going to post this next ride you'd mentioned to me? and be considerate of the temps eh... I'm fragile

ur not as young as you use to be!

haha! I'll probably be riding until I sell it :(

Hope to catch a ride with all of you before it's gone!

Thanks guys.

Definitely looking forward to some coffee/breakfast one of these days. Been looking around for some good baby carriers that attach to the pillion ... funny ... can't seem to find any.

7up:

how many physiotherapists does it take to change a lightbulb. answer: one. They tell it to change itself.
how many orthopaedic surgeons does it take to change a lightbulb. answer: one. They stand there and the world turns around them.

Take care of that knee.
