Still in the Game Rides!!

I might finally be able to make one of these rides. Will keep an eye on the thread for details.

What's the pace like? I don't want to hold folks up (klr 650).

I am not long back from my NY/VT trip but may be up for a Sunday ride. I have tons to do so another 12hr shot is probably out of the cards for me. Although on my way back home from VT I passed Prince Edward County...nice riding there and its been awhile too....

No worries, you won't be holding anyone up! When we get way up north it can be spirited up front but stay relaxed at the back, but with such a great group we always manage to stay together thoughout the ride. In traffic and in communites/neighbourhoods it is always very reasonable.

Weather tomorrow ain't lookin' so good. How about we plan for a Prince Edward County trip for next Sunday (Aug.19)?
It is easily a 11 hour day although the amount of time we slab it on the 401 (blah) can change that time drastically.

Wish I could join up again with you 7up, had a blast last time. Good roads and good company lead to good times :)

Cant, flying to Indy for Motogp that day....can we do saturday

I would love to do that route, I've been eyeing it for a while now, although I'll also be out of town next weekend, heading to Vegas for a few days... sorry 7up. For tomorrow I'm going to wake up and play it by ear, I don't mind a little rain, so as long as it isn't dark out then I'll probably still go riding somewhere.

NEW MEET SPOT; Annina's Bakery Goodwood (I see your better lunch spot and raise you one better meet spot)
Meet 8:30 Stand up 9:00 sharp (I'll be there early 'cause here, you want to eat!)
Going to have to sacrifice some rubber to the 401 (spit)

Yes I'm a very polite person now......
I can't do 11 plus hours though I'm getting on the plane at 7 am Sunday for Indy. Have you done this ride? It's a lot of 401 are the roads worth it down there?

It looks like you could really piece together a lot of very nice roads for getting there, I have also always been curious about this mysterious Lake on a Mountain.

The freshwater lake around which the park is based is located nearly 62 metres (203 ft) above the Bay of Quinte ... It is believed to be a collapsed doline (a type of sinkhole). It was believed to be bottomless by early settlers. The depth of the lake is still not fully known, although previous attempts have established the depth over 34 metres (112 ft) deep. Almost nothing is worth 401 time but we live where we live. I have done the northern roads a bunch in the last few months and am just back from Vermont. Prince Edward is a great change of pace and scenery. Lake on a Mounatin and the vineyards are beautiful!
I haven't completely decided on a route yet but wouldn't mind doing a small town tour to get there and after Prince Edward County just suck it up and slab it home... like this.
Or we could go south of Rice Lake and hit some scenic roads.....hmmmm:confused:
