I do, however, take issue with their bait and switch sales. I can't remember how many times I see something I wanted for 75% off regular price, I am there Friday morning on the first day of their sale, and no more in stock -- I thought Ontario law says they have to stock a reasonable amount of a sale item?
Once again, Mastercraft tools have a life time warranty, hence why the replacement even when tips are snapped off.
So why do i have a brand new broken $200 MASTERCRAFT floor nailer that they won't replace?
Went to the closest store, refused, called the next two closest stores, same story, no receipt, no assistance.
I'd go into one of the 2 other stores. It really depends on the rep. If they give you the receipt bs, ask the rep where else you could have bought the Mastercraft item and if he's still being difficult, ask for a manager. You know what they say about squeeky wheels
Except that head office can make the decision to refund you the money and charge the store for it.What happens at the HO and what happens in a store are 2 different things.
You are right on this one, mostly is due to the same item been on promotion back to back weeks, the store would run out of the item the first week and be out of stock for the second week. This is mostly Home Office fault and there is a really big push to get this resolved right now so it does not happen again.I do, however, take issue with their bait and switch sales. Trust me store employees are the ones that have to take the brunt of customers being rightfully ****** off.
The management of the old store on Market St/25 in Milton used to move the stock from the shelves to the store room the night before the sales started then back to the shelves the day after the sale was over.
