For all the shorties out there, a slightly more powerful bike you might want to consider down the road is the FZ6R -- I'm not sure if it is actually taller & narrower or something, but although I can't flat foot my 250 on both sides (29" inseam), I could pretty much flat-foot the FZ6R at the Supershow. I think it even comes with a lower seat option as well.

Also regarding the 500 -- I tried a CBR500R at a Honda demo day and say it should be fine for more beginners, and I would have bought it over my 250 had it been out back in 2011. It is a little taller and somewhat heavier than the CBR250R though.

I also still likely see a CBR600RRA in my future, and although I might end up dropping it 0.5-1 inch at some point I figure I might be able to get used to it's slightly higher seat over the 250 I have now.

I find Dainese has the best fit for petite folks (like myself) followed by some Alpinestars lines.

Stick with European brands, they always seem to fit smaller. I barely fit the 2XL Alpinestars stuff

Ya, but since we are north america, A* is small in relativity. I'm also aware that I am a large (not fat) girl

Go to dealerships and sit on bikes. If its not comfortable move on. If it is you can look for used.

Make sure to ride topless so guys will know you're a strong, confident woman.
