Went for a quick 20min ride with my sister, her first time on the streets ( got her licence yesterday and plate today)
It was abit chilly (-2 @ 6pm) but also great to get out on 2 after what felt like a long winter.
Ya hopefully Sunday is above 5, I'm gonna change the oil/filter on the beast and unleash her.....and if the weather is good the following week-end I'll rider her to the spring motorcycle show...if the weather sucks I may not even go to the show, feels like a tease going to a bike show and jumping in a cage afterwards but I'll see how I feel.
The roads I rode in York Region from North east of Newmarket to Woodbridge were all pretty much "brined" when I rode in this morning. Not a biggy, but kind of annoying on the faceshield.
Any of you that are heading out this time of year shoudl take extra care at corners wit htraffic lights and stop signs. When you turn right there wil often be a bit of sand that can catch you out.
I went for a ride around 5pm tonight after work.. did a 60km round trip ride... once the sun started going down it got Real cold and a little scary on the wet patches on the road.. I did get to find a nice dry road to open her up... time to drink lots of tea and warm up
