So.... Who's Riding This Week????

I didn't see any extra salt in my trek today. Some of the brine lines are still visible, but slightly faded by the rain. I'd say still allot of caution in corners, there's still ALLOT salt/sand out there.

Didn't encounter any new salt today. Third commute of the season, nice to be back on two wheels. Cannot recommend heated glove liners enough. 2C this morning? No problem.

Ive been riding every single day for almost last 2 weeks lol. Dress warm and all is good on my 05 R6. Slow and steady, good to be back on 2 wheels.

Anyone know if they resalted the roads last night (due to the tiny bit of rain we got and the fact it was around freezing overnight)?

On my oride home last night after 8 pm (from Vaughn to north east of Newmarket) most of the roads had been brined. You could still see evidence of it this morning on my ride into work.

Wanted to wait for the rain to wash the streets a bit but screw it, I'm taking my new bike out Saturday. Can't stand the itch any longer.

I hear ya AGMZ.. If you want to get out earlier were meeting up Friday @ QEW & 3rd line timmies - 1pm.
It seems like a good Friday to ride!

I'm done waiting. Bringing the bike home this weekend since I cancelled my parking pass at work. I'll start commuting again as long as the weather permits.

Finally got on the rode today. It was pretty cold but worth every second, didn't see any other riders out though

cant wait for this weekends weather, its going to be great!

Interested in getting a bigger/different bike?

Weather looks awesome for Saturday, might try and get out for a ride and dial in my PCV/Autotune :)

After getting my M2 in the fall, buying a bike in January and trailering it home in the snow in mid March I HAD to take it out last night. It was my first time on the road, there is a ton of sand on the roads so I took corners super slowly and carefully. (not much traffic where I am) I then found a short gravel road and a muddy gravel road to introduce my dualsport bike to dirt. I loved it, even at 100km/h at 3degrees its was just great.

Awsome ride today. Thanks for the guys who met up and took mean a cool run. Cheers.!

Well changed the oil today, took her around the block wasn't really much of a ride but still too cold for my liking. Dunno if the roads were just cold or small debris but the back tire was slipping a bit. Gonna wait it out a bit more.

Yep I hear ya Julz, better to be safe than sorry put the traction control on level 8 until the roads get cleaned...my fairings got cleared today so it will most likely be another week for me before the bike comes out!

I am hoping that we get a good hard rainfall this week to clean the roads!

It was level 8 and the signal was going off lol. I only took her out for like 5 mins just to see if there's any oil leak after the change. Should be raining soon, but also maybe snow......they better now salt the roads again lol

Give it another week or 2 bro, I know the itch is there but atleast there will be less salt & dirt!

Went up north with a clean bike.

Came back 2 hours later and bike was disgusting lol gave it a wash after. Roads are definitely kinda nasty.

I rode up to Collingwood yesterday!! It was a nice day, but today it's raining :(. The ride back to Ajax is going to suck. Side note all the roads in Collingwood are covered in sand still, requires cornering like grandma.
