I've had grapa boiled on the stove with some added sugar at a friends house, blew my sinuses clear for 24hrs. Seen the use of cut potatoes on the forehead and wine vinegar in a bucket to put your feet in too lmao

Often eaten with "uszka" which is like dumplings.

Fruit cream filling or custard filling. Think of a Boston Creme but 1000% better

(Picture below is of a typical dinner in a Polish household on a weekday)

Cooked cabbage with meat and vegetables.

Cabbage roll stuffed with rice and meat, usually ground beef.

#11. Cheese.
Smoked cheese made from salted sheep's milk. Only made in one area of Poland. The southern, mountainous area where the highlanders (górale) come from.
The best are the ones made in small batches by the locals. Some supermarkets do carry them but they are not the same.
If I have anyone coming from Poland, I always try to get them to bring me some.

Sure is better.
Some stores actually do have a chocolate glazed version.


Not a huge can of maple so you can have and enjoy all the Canadian Maple donuts you would like.

Next BurgeRRRR meet, I will bring you a few of these polish donuts to try and convert over.
