Shopping list for 2014 track season

I'm kinda afraid to write this down, but...

Tire warmers
Generator
Slick tires
Belly pan (ordered)
Safety wiring
Number plates and red numbers
Send AK-20 cartridges back to Traxxion to add compression adjustment
Modify slippery footpegs
Replace timing belts

That's the minimum that needs to get done. The list of "would be nice" is twice as long, but I don't think I can afford anything more than the must-haves.

Timing ... belts? So, Ducati?

Yep. His is funny :)

Ordered, hopefully in time for Oct 12th track day, if not for next season:

Motion Pro quick turn throttle assembly (my OEM one is kinda broken after my crash, makes the throttle return slowly).
EBC Vee series rotors (one of the first ones in Canada! woot)
EBC GPFA Pads
Q3's (rear in 200/50, all they had in stock).
New steering head bearings, new wheel bearings, new swingarm bearing.

Then just gotta decide whether to dress her back up in her street clothes, or get some track bodywork... hmmmmmm.

Kellen is selling some US slicks for dirt cheap.

Also the Riflemans throttle insert has worked well for me. 1/5th turn.

Thanks, I'll take a look at the Riflemans.

Forgot to add captive wheel spacers. Rear wheel change upset me a bit yesterday. lol

Caliper hanger keeps knocking the RH spacer out?

Yep. I forgot my grease tub to help it stay put. Also forgot my 2x4 I use to hold the wheel up, so I used my torque wrench case under the wheel to hold it up just enough so I didn't have to lift and hold everything in place.

Shouldn't you be making mini bikes or such?

1/4 turn on backorder and still looking at a lift. Anyone have input on the PA one or the Harbour freight?

Then I have a lot of wrenching to do, out of cast so that's a wonderful freedom

PA one works awesome! I'm sure there's better ones but mines served its purpose for 2 years now and I won't work on a bike without a lift anymore.

I have the 50cc engine to go back in the crf50 some day. but that will still be a couple years, just waiting for him to hurry up and be born.

I have the yellow foot pump PA one. It does the job. Think I had to drill some holes to move the tie down points to the front.

Get a stool to sit on behind the bike and use your feet under the tire to lift it.

If you can make them for cheaper than $70 / set (what I've found so far online) I'll take 2 sets please!

I'll take a set too :)

I went through most of my big purchases this year. The only thing Im getting for next season are a new set of front pads, tires and a pit bike.
