Shopping list for 2013 track season

I learned that OEM bars will not work with lever guards. had to get clipons to mount guards.
Unless you are racing or at least doing track days there is really no reason to use lever guards and if you are racing or tracking you will most likely have clipons

Real track, I was told rdt track wasn't much fun ( never tried it yet) pro 6 in July and riders choice in aug before double header...
Ohhhhh nice :) Got some GoPro's? :D

I took video ( Contour) last year when my bike was still road worthy, now there's not much Honda left on her. I was beginner class last year staying in same class this year. The track is big enough i don't ever feel like I'm being held up or holding someone up. Now the track had been upgraded Turn 2 hopefully won't want to make me want to SH*T my pants... It's worth every penny a must do for tracks.

Or you could have asked Trackside Cutz.... they made custom mounts for the guards depending on if you had OEM or stock bars. And they're flush to the bar.

No harm in having it, even if you are racing. Better safe than sorry. There was a nasty tumble in 2011 that resulted in a bike breaking in half. Can't find the youtube video of it, but it was pretty gnarly. Rider walked away with a fractured wrist.

Oh and about the sharkfins/lever guards - Email Hawkeye/TracksideCuts. Last year they had a killer deal on custom Shark Fin + Brake Lever Guard (choose your own powdercoat). Basically, buy both from them and it's cheaper than buying a single woodcraft.

Mine got a good crash test last year. I just bent it back and it's practically new. Didn't snap off or damage the clip-on bar.

My shock/forks overhaul is done (springs, internals, pistons, mods, oil, seals, etc...). Should be a big difference compared to the stock everything with 4-year-old fork oil I was using last year lol. Facepalm myself.

I'd rather not. But I keep getting annoyed seeing all these new expensive mods when I'm owed a considerable amount.

Hopefully after I get some of my money :/
