Sheep slaughtered in city park

I love animals but I love eating them too so I have no issues with them being killed for eating. Seen my grandmother kill a chicken in front of me, played with a turkey before it was dinner and seen my dad skin a bunny.

I think the issue here is that it was killed in a public park. That's a bit too messed up even for me. Pore sheepy:( Bah

Also, it doesn't seem to have been slaughtered for food but instead was killed as part of a superstitious ritual sacrifice for "luck". On the plus side, at least they didn't use one of those rare virgins that are in such scarce supply these days.

Ha ha ha bravo! :lmao:

Love it Trubodish! according to my mother-in-law who works in a Catholic high school, they have only one virgin at her school, and her statue stands at the school entrance hallway

Shouldn't have done it in a public place - that's the worst of it.

I have a problem with torturing animals, not so with killing them; so until our society admits that factory farming is mass-scale animal torture, all of these stupid animal cruelty whiners crying about one sheep, or one raccoon here and there, then going off and having a low-cal low-fat chicken breast for lunch can go take a long walk off a short plank as far as I'm concerned.

Putting aside the whole "we eat animals so killing them is condoned" argument, the fact is, we don't condone killing them in public parks, for amusement, superstition, or religion. I've never met a farmer yet who "enjoys" slaughtering animals; it's part of farming but not a pleasant one. Anyone who takes pleasure in it is a sick, twisted fuk and anyone who comes here and thinks it's okay to perform their little voodoo rituals needs to get on the next plane back.
