what the **** is with people that speed up when you pass them for driving too slow ?

i'll admit that im no angel when it comes to driving, im a bit of a leadfoot, and i drive fairly aggressive.

i'll never get angry at someone who is driving the limit, or just over, as its not your problem that i drive faster than you, but whats the deal with trying to prevent me from passing ? its only going to cause yourself grief, because eventually, i WILL pass you, and i might just cut in front of you nice and close and spary rocks or stuff over you.

what causes people to do things like this ? what causes someone to pull into the merge lane to try and prevent a car from passing them ?

why ( when there are 2 open lanes coming to a red light ) do people drive in the right lane and not leave room for people to turn ?w

why dont people pull ahead a bit, to allow people to turn right at a red light ?

why do people drive the exact same speed as the car beside them ?

why do people wait for the cashier to tell them how much something costs before they pull out their purse or wallet ?

why do people let their dogs bark 20 times before they tell it to stop. its a dog. its not going to stop until you smack it in the head.
after the first bark, SMACK. it will learn fast

whats the deal with idiots that walk into a fast food place, and ask for something they dont make, or ask something dumb.

why does the newspaper box only work 60% of the time ?

why is theres a 24hour kids tv station ? what child could possibly be watching the Backyardigans at 3 am

I like the idea of speed cameras personly.......yes to the few million of us who do speed and drive/ride well over the limit will be ****** for a few months. But, they too will see the benefits of them. Yes I'm getting older and well maybe wiser, I doubt that part..lol., but I like the thought that everyone will be doing the limit safely hopefully and you won't get the soccer mom's, late for workers, or just the insistant people trying to zip past and infront of you just to make up 5 minutes on their way to where-ever they're supposed to be. I'm in....slap them up on permanent posts like in England, post up signs to where they are, put them in vans, up granny's skirt for all I care as long as they are the final word, no court fights, you earned it you pay it. Period! IMHO...if your vehicle breaks the law you pay for it period! If you stupidly lent it to someone who you know is going to break the law by their driving habits or not, that's your problem! Take it up with them, not try and weasel your way out of it in court. Pay up....move on...learn to respect the idea of the camera and what it is designed for. They work well in England and all over Europe....get over it. Please put them up here! If you want to speed.....there is what is called track days!

People who don't gave me the wave after I left them in my lane. Oooo I hate that.
 
People that pass me when I leave more than half a car length when I follow heavy traffic. I actually leave quite a bit of space, but I am following the traffic. It gets me REALLY ****** when people try to hop in front of me to fill my safety gap. I will speed up in that case. People seem to get quite ****** when I do that.

Most of these questions have the same answer....

Pure ignorance and the atypical Canadian attitude that they are as safe in their car as they are behind their keyboard.

Oh, the last one........... because people can record shows with Tivo etc.

I smack my dog for barking all the time and he still hasn't learned after 3 years. How do you figure he will learn fast?

I have to admit...you and I have the same anger issues.

People who blow through a red light or a stop sign to turn right when they clearly see you coming....then proceed to drive at or 5 under the limit in front of you.

One day you mother****ers.....one day....

I enjoy blocking the merge lane with my work truck when I'm stuck in construction and asshats behind me like to use the merge lane to jump queue.


Also, kids who are sick might be up at 3am or the station is broadcast across Canada.

This is true - with some dogs you will get tired of dishing out discipline before they get tired of barking. I have a barker myself and even if he knows he's gonna get it he's gonna try and squeeze as many barks in as possible before I get to him LOL

I think in my case the dogs trying to get even for having him de-nutted.
