Severed Cat heads.

its just funny to see the sense of entitlement cat owners think they have ..

you can see how they act.. its a " **** you, my cat is more important that you " type of attitude.

goes to show you what these people think of their neighbours..

I DO think of the neighbours, and respect their stuff. If I had a cat, ( and Im still trying to get one ) it will never be left outdoors.

I have 3 ferrel cats that I took in from the neighborhood and as much as I'll argue for the outdoor cats... I don't let mine outside at all.

You would never get close to a real Ferrel cat. Thoses were other peoples cats you took in.

My neighbor has 3 cats that they will not let inside their house, they say it is too annoying to let them in because they just meow to go back outside.
But when the SPCA (or whatever they are called) come, they argue with them that they will keep the cats indoors and the next day they are outside again and they are always there because he leaves food and water for them outside.
They always tear up the garbage outside and leave dead anaimals all over the neighborhood and make my dog go crazy becuase they will sit on my front porch as my dog barks at them constantly until they leave.

So from now on, if they are on my property I let my dog out to chase them away, the neighbor has yelled at me for it, but I told him if they are on my property they are either getting the dog or the hose.

Can't argue with that. Its your property. As long as the dog stops the chase as your property ends.

My cat came back, the very next day. Was meowing at the back door at 6 am.
We're thinking of getting a dog run for two of them now. As my wife says, "they aren't street smart"

I don't see any cats roaming our neighbourhood, it could be that the bears get them, or it could be that people don't let them out. Rumour has it now that their is a major mouse problem in the area...
When we cruised the Mediterranean, I saw tons of skinny cats roaming the streets and not one mouse or rat.
But then again we have dozens of wild rabbits roaming the area as well, which we enjoy.

Hell no, he chases them right back to the neighbors house, and I tell him, sucks when it is the other way around, if your kept your cats inside my dog would never be here.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. The irony!!!!

No irony, dogs are idiots that need boundaries . Why, because they do attack people and bite children. Don't compare how a dog behaves vs a cat.

No. They were all ferrel. I took the first one, and stole the trap, that was put out behind the rec center near my house due to rumors abut what was happening to them when they were caught. The second was weak/sick when found and couldn't run away. The third was tiny little runt that obvviously wouldn't survive, took hours to catch, used the trap I stole previously. The neighborhood had watched him eating out of garbage and drinking out of puddles for days, noticed him struggling... turned out he was about 2 months old, was sick and is on diet/meds for life.
I'm certain they are, or were, ferrel. They don't behave like pet cats, even now... I probably couldn't keep them all without my jack russel being here... he enforces the rules and has to a lot. 3 ferrel cats, a working jack and corgi... been a few trips to the vet for stitches.

And your dog would never have been hit with a shovel had he stayed on your property.

I think that this might be the dumbest thread I've even read thru. It's a cat......who cares. Some people need to stop being such crusty old people.

The neighbour's kid's ball landed in my back yard - what gives them the right to play so close to my house
Someone parked infront of my house - what gives them the right to use my curb
Next door is cooking spicy food - what gives them the right to make me smell it
The guy across the street doesn't cut his lawn - what gives him the right to make me look at that

You live in a neighbourhood than you put up with Neighbours. you don't like it, propose a by-law or suck it up.

Well put, however I think there is a by-law about the grass and I got to say I'm for it.

in Oac law I did an essay on serial Killers and this kind of behavior is a precursor to moving up the food chain. if they don’t catch this guy in a couple years your going to see people missing in the area.

I've been to areas where dogs roam free, too. Pretty much anywhere outside city limits.

I keep mine inside but that's mostly because I prefer lower vet bills. No worries about fighting racoons and getting hit by cars.

The issue of making noise when they are in heat or ****ing other cats isn't a problem if you are a responsible pet owner and get your pet fixed.

They've all got scars... The jack is covered in scars but the cats' are the least in severity... Although he does have a scar/small piece missing in one of his eyeballs from the oldest male...

So true. I felt awful taking my cats in to have their boys removed but it was for their own good, and seeing how I let them out during the day and the very odd night its only fair.
