let me know whats up with the ride.. i started early may on my 125... ive done about 6500km but other than random bikes on the street, ive never ridden with other bikes in a proper ride. i rode by kc one time and saw a bunch of bikes there but i didn't stop and chat or anything. when do people meet there?

Brave soul riding again!
Hopefully I'll make it to the lot tonight before its cleared out, where exactly is the meet? Parking lot?

Yeah, it's the lot of the timmies there. I didn't see any of you guys tonight. Well, at least no one came up to me. I had no idea who I was looking out for. lol

Aww, that sucks! I was there from about 830pm till 1230am. I didn't notice any of yas there. I posted earlier what I was riding and wearing but no one came over to say hi. =\

Brucewayne, I usually get there around 8 or 830pm. By the time I get there, there's already quite a few bikes there so I'm not sure when exactly they start arriving.

Wish you guys woulda found me and said hi!

I didn't see anyone with a limp and black dainese jacket ;)
I was the red gsxr parked a way from the pack with a red alpinestars jacket

My jacket is all black and doesn't say Dainese on it anywhere but it has the emblem on the button at the top of the neck so that's the only way you can tell. I went in a few times to get coffee and I was limping. I don't have a huge limp but it is noticeable. You didn't see a girl there with long dark hair with yellow/orange tips and bangs? I was wearing light blue jeans and 3 sweaters under my black jacket. One sweater I had on was grey and had a hood.

I was also parked at the very start of the back parking spot where all the bikes were. If you pulled in and made an immediate right into the lot, my bike woulda been straight in front of you in the back row.

ah... i know saw you then! and I saw your bike as well. there were a few females there and I didn't want to yell out 'sykobish!?' lol

lmao I would have looked if you did. hahah I shoulda asked what you guys were wearing. Ah well. That meet is every Wednesday so you should come next week if the weather holds out. =) I probably saw you too but my memory is ****.

Just where is this Timmies at KC....? LOL. they only timmies i know of is the one inside Metro... >< I must be so blind.

Oh damn I totally forgot the TH that's there! haha.. i didn't even get close to there then... well, i guess next week if the weather is good.

haha Yeah, if you go east on Progress on Kennedy, at the first set of lights, you will see it on your left. =) Can't miss it.

Hey, the weather is great and I'd like to get in as much riding as I can before it gets too cold. If anyone is riding late afternoon or evenings please let me know, I'd like to join.

Thanks Sunspark I already took the course.

Try starting off in ready position. Right foot on rear brake, right hand on the throttle ready to go, left hand holding the clutch and left foot on ground supporting the motorcycle up. When ready to move off from the stop remember the friction zone with some throttle this will help reduce the stalling problem. I hope this helps.

Beautiful day today: anybody in this thread taking advantage of the weather on two wheels?

I haven't heard from anyone yet. Still working on it. lol Maybe I'll just post a date and place and see who shows. That might be easier. This weekend I'm busy until the evenings with Thanksgiving so maybe we'll shoot for Monday or Tuesday. I'll post on Sunday when I'm home and we'll go from there. Monday is a holiday so maybe that would be the best day.

*** guys this is my first season as well and I'd like to say, Learn from Sykobish. See what she does, listen to her, follow her tracks. She is a really good teacher!***

Basics learned now will help hone your skills down the road!
