You sound just like 172: guilty before proven innocent.
More like average rider actually.

EVERY charge, even for full-blown criminal impaired, is at the officer's discretion.
If something is precious to me I wouldn't get in the situation where it would be taken away in the first place.
last year i almost got 203'd, only my gps which showed my max speed of the day reflected an impossibility of me doing a speed the cop was accusing me of saved me (this was just after the cop in mississauga got caught making up charges). the cop decided he didn't need that kind of attention. how do you avoid getting in that situation? i know its rare, not every cop will round up/make up stuff how ever it just takes a cop having a bad day/out to pad his pocket to ruin your life. some one making 30k a year would be penalized 1/10th of their gross pay just from impound and defending. so how do you avoid being targeted like that?
Stay home, dont try doing anything fun
So the law sucks, yes, but I bet it's very rarely abused.
Take your riding out of the city. Police in the city are ******** because they always have to deal with so many ********. Where I live if you get pulled over you got a decent chance of talking your way out of it. Most officers here arent old so they havent forgotten what its like to enjoy speeding or wheelies. I got pulled over last night for doing a wheelie cop said he was not going to give me a stuntin ticket only cause he was imnpressed. He had never seen anyone do aa wheelie in a car before lol
Guys, cops are not The Enemy...
Just mind yer business, drive defensively and save the 200 clicks for appropriate moments.
Lots of cops keeping their eyes on the cagers (making sure they stop for yellow lights, etc.) is an okay thing.
Piloting motorcycles is not a joke, it's serious business and you must play nice with cops, pedestrians, traffic laws and other users of the roads.
I never have any problems - but then I have all my paperwork, a tight rein on my bad attitude and quiet exhaust mufflers on my bike.
Running from the cops is just insane, but I did try it once myself, many years ago...
It didn't work out well.
But you could talk to the cops back in the day. They were more human, less computerized.
These days everything is under heavy surveillance - but that makes it even harder for cops to be corrupt, doesn't it?

They aren't your friends either, even thou they always make it seem like they are doing you a big favor...
"Heres what Im gonna do, talk to the JP and they will reduce the ticket for you" But what they really mean is "Talk to the JP so I can get booked for 5 hours of court overtime for the 5 ticket I wrote this week, but be out in 10 min because you all took a plea before trial".....Oh thanks!
Guys, cops are not The Enemy..:laughing8:
Um anybody that tries too screw me over is my Enemy i don"t know about you .
This is no joke.
It burns me up inside when all of sudden a cop is "my best friend."
More often than not they are looking to send someone up sh*t creek to further their own career.
the police are the problem not the solution. I vote we ban police from doing anything at all. How dare they enforce the laws of our great country. I believe you must practise restraint on the street, I own a 2004 gsxr 1k "fastest bike ever produced" And I have decided that its best to take it to the track for aggressive style riding. Its safer and cheaper than the cost of getting caught on the street. And if you must ride beyond societies laws then be prepared to run. However be prepared to die. You could crash and burn. Also if you take out an innocent person... "for instance" my son I would then skin you alive and feed you to fire ants while you watched piranhas eat your penis in an aquarium in front of your very eyes. Don't forget I'm a Buddhist now but in my younger days it could have been worse for said person.
Guys, cops are not The Enemy...
I guess you believed Blinky when he told you cops are your friend..
well i got news for you ..psss he lied..
now they got cops making doors wtf no wonder they are writing tickets they want to stay out of the woodshop.I'll pull over when cops dont gain anything from writing me tickets, besides getting their regular pay...
I make doors for a living, doesnt matter if I make 1 door a day or 500 I get payed the same...Now put me in the position of a cop where the more doors I make the more money I can make, and you can bet your *** I'll be making a **** ton more doors a day...The difference is I dont think I could even do it, if it meant I had to screw people over...
Same with parking enforcement, Im not sure how their pay system works but they must be getting some kind of bonus or have to meet a quota. I just couldnt do that job....

J/k
so cops now make a percentage of the tickets they write. I disagree I dont think this is correct.
