I'm looking to use a spray-on rubbery material that is smooth to paint the fairings on my bike as well as possibly in the future to re-coat my rubberized helmet, etc. I'm looking for recommendations. I've heard some are smooth and some are textured/rough, and that they're not at all the same.
So far I've heard of :
- Rhino
- Plastex
- http://www.chirienterprise.com/index.html (out of Quebec)
- Line-X
It is absolutely critical that the parts DO look rubbery and smooth, and DON'T look plasticy or like cottage cheese like this: http://i122.photobucket.com/albums/o269/mngurl/Sporty Makeover/InProgress01.jpg <-- bad, undesirable, yuck, FAIL
This stuff looks ok, texture-wise, and is supposedly duplicolor rattlecan bedliner paint: http://i358.photobucket.com/albums/oo27/silvertramp/wingmarch09003-1.jpg
Any advice?
