If it were me, I would have used a gob of black silicone as a replacement. My OCD might have made me remove the muffler to shape it nicely, though.
Thanks, I'll look into that!Consider using something like Shippsy.com next time. Partzilla wanted something like $60 to ship my last purchase, but shipped anywhere in the USA for free. Had it sent to my Shippsy USA address and it cost me something like $10 instead for them to bring it across, clear it, etc etc.
True, but the Suzuki dealer in my area is out of the way, and the hours fall under my working hours. And now boats.net will take 3-4 weeks to get it to you... you could have gone to a Suzuki dealer and got it in 2 days, for the same price.
Nice! I've bookmarked it, and will check it out later. Thanks.Try looking at the parts fiche for different models and years.
Rubber parts like that are usually used for many products to reduce costs.
I didn't. It was the weekend, my local Suzuki dealer is very small and doesn't have good hours. I just wanted this done and off my long list of things to do.Did you try a local dealer ? Just asking...
Going by this, I did okay. The currency conversion is about a wash.
Actually, that would have been a 40 minute ride one way, and the same price. I think the "dicking around" paid off. That wasn't hard, was it ?
People spend more time dicking around on the web than doing the obvious.
@West Brant Kid - you could have ordered it, prepaid it and picked it up ?
Glad it worked out for you.Going by this, I did okay. The currency conversion is about a wash.
BONUS: I didn't have to go to Hamilton and incur a traffic ticket. lol
