Not sure how many of you guys use Rotella, but the 5L jugs go on sale tomorrow at CT -the T is on for $20.79 and the T6 is on for $34.39. Looks like the sale goes until the 25th. Time for my yearly stock-up.

This Rotella T6, is it very good? If I've been using Mobil 1 MX4T until now (terribly expensive), do you think it will be a big downgrade for the comfort of my engine if I switch to Rotella T6?

I personally have used it for years on the street and its the only thing that has gone in my track bike.

Been using it in my race bikes for 3+ years, also in my street bikes.

I don't get it ... it's 38$ bucks all day long at Walmart (http://www.walmart.ca/en/ip/rotella-t6-5w-40-5l/10045687) ... why the enthusiasm over 3.50$ savings?? .... is it really that bad out there? I thought it is a motorcycle hobby forum here ... LOL

Its cheaper and just as good as amsoil. Nothing wrong with using it. I'll be sending my t6 out for testing at the end of this season.

Huh what? I used Amsoil only once, on my previous bike, and it made it shift worse than a Moskvitch, just didn't work well with that particular bike for some reason. But then I tried the mobil 1, and kept buying it forever and ever....but now I saw this eye-opening thread!

I'm assuming t6 5w40 would be good enough for a 2007 gsxr 600? I would think diesel oil wouldn't b safe for bikes tho...?
