RIP isoHunt

If anyone's interested in ILT (mainly new releases (within 12mo.), but has a solid Request forum) the only way to get invites right now is to buy credit, so unless 2 or more are willing to buy in I can't give out any invites. Sorry all

Anyone here remembers the good old FTP days ? That was a lot of fun.

Also, XDCC through IRC. Wonder if that is still alive.

How about Hotline, remember that one? I downloaded my first copy of the Matrix via Hotline lol.

Yup. I rmb staying up till the wee hours on a crapbox downloading Doom 3 only to play with horribad FPS due to a bad computer.

It doesn't have the comments and rating anymore. I used that to make sure I wasn't downloading garbage.

I'm surprised no one's mentioned XBMC.... I stopped DL from torrent sites years ago. XBMC has anything and everything in the world from live sports, movies, TV shows...you name it. And the best thing is you click and watch, streams right away.

I bought an inexpensive Acer netbook with an HDMI port, plug it into my TV and get bluray-like quality streams. I haven't looked back since aaaah the joy.

Hardly Blu-ray quality, but you do get 720p, also because it is a streaming service you are SOL without internet. Otherwise it works pretty well.

You can now get Android based players like the Pivos and MyGica(recommended) which will run XBMC and a buttload of other apps and they're only $99.
