Can anyone give me an invite to a good private tracker? Don't mind seed quotas, got VDSL :cool: Been down and out for fresh stuff ever since Nzbs'R'Us got burned

My thanks go out to AF4iK and the benefactor who wished to stay anonymous (your inbox is full, btw, but if you wanna come out, should be ok, just gotta confirm my registration). On IPtorrents and having a hard time finding enough leechers to seed what I already picked up :P

Ironically, that's the one problem with private trackers is that too many people want to seed and not enough leechers lol. IPT gives you bonus points for every hour you seed which can be used to "buy" upload credit and other things. It helps to start with freeleech torrents too.

Funfile has a similar set up, exchange points for upload credit. You get points for idling in their IRC channel too. Always max download speed on anything I get from there too.
 
Sorry for anyone that tried to PM me while my box was full, either way I did give out my 2 invites.

ILT does Upload Credit for donations. Not a huge fan of that

They have other incentives to give out, allowing people to buy TBs at a time promotes hit and runs

It depends if you know what you're downloading/opening. Most movies you download that don't have some sort of executable extension (.exe, .scr, and there was 1 more that I cant remember), are most probably clean unless they require you to download some unknown codec which some hackers figured out how to link their viruses through that.
Oh, also uninstall Java if you know you don't use it. It's probably the fastest way for a hacker to get victims by using a method called JDB (Java drive by).

lol wasn't talking about me. I prefer to stream everything.
 
You have to wait, look at capcha codes, fake links... and all that crap. The download speeds are usually slower than torrents.

I never used an AV on my computers and I never got any viruses. If I have any questionable downloads I check them out in a virtual machine.
 
Anyone here remembers the good old FTP days ? That was a lot of fun.

Also, XDCC through IRC. Wonder if that is still alive.
