Venezuela oil reserves are reported to be twice that size of Saudi Arabia's. I guess attacking IRAN will have to wait.
I guess they'd have to ditch the desert camo & re-invest in jungle camo

I wasn't making a point, I just found it funny and on topicI am not sure how this helps your point of view because the points made are more positive than negative.
I noticed they left out on major and key point.
The price of gas there is 18 cents per gallon.
I came across this chart which is rather interesting that all of the oil producers provide cheap gas to their citizens.

With poverty rampant in Venezuela and inflation rates beyond belief, Chavez was buying goodwill outside of the country by exporting money and oil. Public profile was far more important than good governance. I can't help but think of the Gilligan's Island episode where he was dreaming of being el Presidente and promising "Dis, dat, and de odder ting."
And now the circle is complete, we have drawn comparison with a fairly elected socialist dictator and Gilligan's island.
Well "fairly elected" is questionable and I didn't want to be predictable, by going the Godwin route.
The US-favoured and orchestrated alternative was a military putsch. That worked well in Chile![]()
I saw an interesting post that a Venezuelan girl friend of mine made, she posed a challenge to Chavez suporters for the next election in AprilHe is dead, let's move on.
Let's see what the next guy does?
I will say gas will be $2 per gallon in 2 years from it's current 18-25 cents per gallon.
