Hi All,
.
I am new to the site but not new to riding. Anyone want to go riding on Sunday September 2nd?
I know some excellent roads in the Muskokas,all twisty. Will be leaving from the Esso gas station at Jane Street and Major Mac at 9am.
All bikes welcome, sports bikes would be better for the twisty sections.
Will be back in Vaughan by 5pm at the latest.

Excellent,
If you have never been up there, it's the best riding in Ontario. We will be on roads such as Southwood (tight twisties), hwy 141 (big sweepers) and the hwy 518 which is like the Le Manns with no cars on it.

Nope havent even heard of the places... And I will be home as I just remembered I going to see duran duran on aug 31...lol dont laugh I will buzz you when Im back and get details :) thanks for the offer
 
Beautiful route! Just watch out for gravel on Southwood, I lowsided on one of the turns there last year.
 
is it possible to show these roads/route on a map? I would really be interested in heading there sometime but I can't make it on the 2nd.

Do the search in cruising/touring section. I found 3 or 4 really good Muskoka routes there last year. Unfortunately, I don't have my last year's route saved, will have to look at home.

I was on Southwood last weekend. They put down some new pavement on some spots, 95% of the sand is gone.
 
Yes, These roads are on the Ontario Road map. Please note that Southwood Road is also called Muskoka Road 13.

That's great to know!! Last year I went into the 90-degree turn, so couldn't see the exiting end, and when I "turned", most of the lane was covered with gravel, probably thrown by the car. Brutal :(

You will be okay on your 250. I usually do 20 over on the straights and flat out in the corners.
