The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of five arrests in a series of

smash-and-grabs.

It is alleged that:


- between Friday, August 30, 2013 and Wednesday, September 18, 2013, a group of men

broke into nine businesses, including Sherway Gardens and Prada in Toronto, Rider's Choice
in Mississauga, and several businesses in York Region.

On Thursday, October 3, 2013, 22 Division Major Crime Unit, with the assistance of 52

Division Major Crime Unit, and Peel Regional Police, executed four search warrants and
arrested five men.

Stanislaw Sieczka, 37, of Toronto, is charged with:


1) nine counts of Break-and-Enter - commit

2) Possession of property obtained by crime - over ($5,000)
3) Possession of property obtained by crime - under ($5,000)
4) Arson

Tomasz Paliwoda, 30, of Brampton, is charged with:


1) Break-and-enter - commit


Lalko Wojciech, 36, of Mississauga, is charged with:


1) Break-and-enter - commit


Piotr Wroblewski, 34, of Toronto, is charged with:


1) Possession of property obtained by crime - over


Sebastian Sapeta, 39, of Toronto, is charged with:

1) eight counts of Break-and-Enter - commit

2) two Break-and-Enter - intent
3) two counts of Possession of property obtained by crime - over ($5,000)
4) Possession of property obtained by crime - under ($5,000)

They appeared in court at 2201 Finch Avenue West on Thursday, October 3, 2013, 2 p.m.
