Warp Records put out an amazing 5 disc, vinyl compilation about 10 years ago that had all of the early important techno tunes on it. I bought it and along with a bunch of other tunes I had, I recorded some sets dedicated to the sounds of Nightmares on Wax, LFO and more.

They are on my site and one is called NightmaresOnWaxRise and the other is called WarpedWax. They music those producers made was groundbreaking for sure.

just listened to WarpedWax (didn't know LFO was in there).......anyways LFO, Forgemasters, DJ EFX, Testone, Tricky Disco AND HouseFly! in one set...Absolutely Brilliant!

Was it called Warped Records 89-92?
 
Yeah that's the one. It was actually a 4 disc and had all the most influential tunes on it. It must be worth a lot of money now...

I'm slowly getting into Pink Floyd. This one is not bad. I will play comfortably numb regularly though.

Yeah, they were great and very influential - after hearing a couple of tracks back in the day, I pretty much bought all their albums the following week :)
