Ride Music

old school dnb: I used to listen to MC Flipside and buy the freaky flow cds back in the day. I heard toronto used to be dnb capital... of the world? way back in the day.

I love the new liquid genre though. It's so loveydovey, uplifting. gives me extra horse power.

this new one vid per post is silly !

^^ I have that LTJ Bukem tune on his vinyl compilation called Logical Progression - one of the best DnB compilations I ever bought. I think I'm a bit older than you though... We used to buy tapes from X-Static.

There is a set on my DrumnBass page called "The Lighter Side of Jungle".... and 'Horizon's' by LTJ was one of the last tunes on it closed off by a tune rapped by Bahamadia and remixed by Roni Size!... check that set out - works really nice on the twisty's.

One of my current repeats. I :love5: Aaliyah RIP

I'm a big fan of the older Drum n Bass and Jungle too. If you are into mixed sets of the stuff, then there is about 10 located here - lot's of classic anthems and some gems in there too.

And of course if you are into most kinds of non-mainstream house, then there's tons of that on the other pages of my website. I really like the stuff for riding - especially with no breaks between the tunes so it's just continuous music...
Cheers.

hey Shane, thanks very much for sharing....lovin all the classic house.......here's one, in my opinion, is THE anthem for house - it has to be, it's in the title :)

it might not be for everyone.... for those that get it, they'll like it.............all others will probably think WTF!

^^ very interesting you posted that. I just recorded a set of classic (but darker) house all mixed against newer tech house and techno and I started the set off with that gem you posted. That is a serious tune.

man. .. if I can only find my old cds somewhere. And wow, that track is almost as old as me!

It's been a busy summer. I've recorded about 10-15 more sets, but I haven't uploaded them yet.
Pretty soon I'll have time to put them up.

Glad you like:)

Just for myself and friends now with the occasional party somewhere... late nights mess with my work week.
I still buy quite a bit of newer music though...

Serato all the way, playing off CDJ 1000's.

I converted my whole vinyl collection about 6 years ago. Took me a whole summer to record every track I had into wave, then convert them into 320kbps mp3. I like playing vinyl, but it became such a hassle carting crates everywhere... not to mention the space all those records it took up in my house. I had many very rare original pressings of classic house, rare groove, disco and more!

I am still hanging in there with my 1200s. They`re going to be collectors items soon though. Panasonic discontinued them in 2010.

I still have a few crates left. I couldn`t bring myself to sell my classic house and 90s jungle.

I got rid of most of my dance and newer house music though. Pennies on the dollar :S

haha, I was gonna post Testone too....nice one....here's one of my all time favorites...:)
