Nice, which one? 3gs? 32GB?

Even if, still better to wait, than whine about having the old one.

I've owned every single version of the iPhone so far, starting the 2G which I bought in US as we didn't get it here.

2G 8GB
3G 8GB
3G 16GB
3GS 32GB

I sell the old ones and then buy new ones. It's much cheaper this way then upgrading a phone from Rogers directly with a new 3 year contract :) Saying that, I don't think he made a mistake as the iPhone(s) prices do not drop by much and if he wants to upgrade, he can simply sell this and get a new one once it is released. Exactly what I am planning to do when the 4G or HD does come out.

iPhone 4 is not a 4G nor is it HD.

its just simply iPhone 4

June 24 is for the US...

Canada doesnt get it till July

old phone just quit so I needed to get something.
If iphone 4 makes it here within 15 days I can swap it

You gotta be below 30 mins talk time, and the 30 day return will be okay.

its just simply iPhone 4

iPhone 4 (from spec sheet)
Video recording, HD (720p) up to 30 qualifies as HD

Unfortunately the hardware to support the 4G specification doesn't exist at this time, however the software based on 4G specifications exists.

In fact AT&T in the USA and Rogers and Bell in Canada have rolled out 4G networks....but its 4G software running on 3G hardware in simple terms.
This allows new 4G features to be offered at 3G performance.

Who really knows teh significance of the iPhone 4, aside that it comes after 3 be it G or GS, like 3 came ofter 2G. Is it 4G feature support ready?
Doesn't matter, it can be if it is not. On June 21 Apple is releasing IOS4.
I have one less sensor in my iPhone 3GS and a camera with less resolution, so its not an iPhone 4, which already has the IOS4 installed. When I install it I get 100 new features, like tap 5x zoom for the camera. Okay, so it will look better in the iPhone 4, but I just have to download the new OS to have every new feature the iPhone 4 has that isn't related specifically to I4 hardware. And the hardware difference is slight.

So the likelyhood of the iPhone 3, 4 being able to use whatever 4G offerings are made during the (marketing) lifetime of that phone will support it, or will be updated to support it. And why not. Apple is happy that you have a device that can download software they get a cut from each download. Upgading hardware is not as important as you having a platform to download your songs, ringtones, books, movies, TV show and software to...because that costs nothing and the cash register just goes ching, ching.

Anyways the iPhone 4 is actually HD and because the OS is updatable, its perfectly able to support any 4G telco offerings...if you buy the features over a 3G network and not a 4G network is 4G. But since that is what is currently being sold as 4G, and all that is required to connect to such networks is a 3G phone...and the right application software, a 3G iphone can be enabled to use 4G features if run on a 3G network.

But perhaps you can tell us why the iPhone 4 is not HD nor 4G....maybe you have different terms for HD and 4G than the rest of us.....or perhaps you dislike Apple?

I love my 3GS but as most 3GSers will agree, it has the worlds $hityest battery. I hear it's been fixed in the 4G. I get about 12 hours if I don't use it too much... I bought it in September.

Actually my battery on the 3GS is very good. I can surf the web the whole day and will need to charge it at night :) They have made major improvements from 3G and 2G days.

My battery kicks ***.
It only drains quick if you're surfing the web a lot, but that's with any phone.

holy S&!T........HE LIVES!
hahahah just bustin your ballz man, how are ya? when you coming out
