Renewal is up 11%. Also switched me from Primmum to their regular TD Insurance as I don't qualify anymore. No claims fully licenced for twenty plus years. Can't be bothered chasing around now but will probably be looking late summer when my other four become due with another company.

My insurance with TD went up from $500 to $1000. For a Ninja 300 ABS (which I'll be selling shortly because i purchased an FJ-09). They're nuts. No accidents, tickets, ever. Over 30 and Full M. Did an online quote (I know it isn't accurate as telephone but) and FJ-09 went from estimated $1100/year to $3000/year. Guess I'll be cancelling and shopping around very shortly.

With Primmum... group discount also btw.

I've been calling around all day today... some are already close so I'll have to follow up with a few more tomorrow. Allstate said they don't insure sport bikes without something else on the policy so no go there. But I have definitely found better rates than TD.

Likebutta, what's been the best company?

I'm in the same scenario, started with TD, RBC and Allstate with nothing significantly positive today.

Mine went up 9% with TD. Just heading to some warmer weather for a week, but when I get back I need to change the bike policy for a 750cc to a 250cc, so we'll see where the numbers end up.

45 / licensed forever / zero claims + they have our cars & house & cottage insurance

It might depend on your specific factors but so far Cornerstone seems to have given me the best rate.

Hi, the other poster is correct. Your rate is also based on your history and can vary. There are a lot of factors that go in to a quote.

Unfortunately, insurance seems to be something that needs to be shopped around for every year come renewal. I feel as though many insurance companies hook you with a low-rate, and increase yearly from there.

Sometimes true, but doesn't hurt to look around and see what out there... If you want, you could give my office a call and see what they can do for you. I'll be in training just In case you ask for me, so if they ask how heard about them, just give my name.

2 bikes, a car and a house. Just shopped around and Aviva/Allstate/TD(Primumm) are all pretty close with TD higher on bikes but $400 cheaper on house. That's without knowing yet if my car (March) and house (August) will go up which they probably will. Looks like it's time to jump ship and try out another company (likely Aviva at this point).

I am with them since about a month ago. Just ensure you read reviews and do a little research, have not been reading good things at all.

Good to know, thanks.

BTW, it was your contact Chris that I got the price from, so thanks for that as well.

Update: checked reviews and between primumm/TDMM/allstate/aviva they all have similar poor reviews with none looking like a better option service-wise.
