It’s a definitive “Turn off Brain and ’Ooh Ahh’“ type movie…
Some neat parts, but not Oscar material by any stretch.

Dont know of many video game adaptations that worked out. Very rare to be able to make that jump.

Great games though.

It's pretty damn good...
I enjoyed it thoroughly.
Then again, I've always been partial to this type of show.

Yeah DLed that for some diversion. Watching Shannarra Chronicles purely for same reason and cute girls.
Plus New Zealand landscapes...bit soapy otherwise tho makes me laugh at times with the incongruity of objects....

Such a sad way to portray Brooks' books. Perfectly manicured "apocalyptic" lands. Mostly spotless and new clothing. About the only thing that they got right, was the Space Needle in the opening credits. Pure soap opera, worthy of The WB.
