A friend's cousin is a well known high volume RE agent. My friends comment was "He's 35 going on 60." I can't help but feel that to be successful one have to work the anti-social shifts, be on call 24/7 and be able to put up with ignorant buyers with eyes bigger than their wallets.
Internet wheeling and dealing has made the market worse as have low interest rates.

The biggest problem is that sellers over estimate their properties and lie about condition, home inspections are often a joke, buyers are unrealistic and at some time there will be a market correction. It all adds up to a whore's market. Not something I would enjoy.

Can you make money? Definately, if you can work the above.
