Spend the money on a course with Racer5 or Fast, doing ramps gets old really fast after going to the track. 5 Years experience riding is nothing really.
Key word.Smooth.I don't think it was mentioned yet, but try to be in a lower gear and the revs up. I don't mean pin the throttle in 1st gear but being able to apply constant smooth power helps a lot for stability. The engine does some gyroscopic physics stuff when its spinning fast enough and that makes your bike stable in a corner. Decide the speed you want to go, figure out the gear that will let you do it at 50% throttle, then do the slow look press roll deal.
Assuming we're talking about the cbr, 3rd gear is probably a good spot for most posted 60-80 ramps. When I started out my biggest challenge was not downshifting into a turn. On the advice of a trusted buddy who recommended doing it in 3rd gear and in the top half of the rev range instead of 5th, it changed everything.
