I bought the motion pro. $150 and it's not plastic as others have said. It's a solid piece of equipment. Unlike TJ's flimsy one it doesn't look like it will break in a crash.
Edit: looks like TJ and Paulo are banned. i guess i missed out on shenanigans.
The housing is cast aluminum, its the cams and throttle tube that are plastic.......My OEM housing is plastic, plastic tends to wear and then it gets sticky or just doesnt have a smooth pull....
All aluminum parts IMO offer the smoothest throttle, but they rattle quite a bit on some setups....The tighter tolerance of billet machined parts matched together if far greater then cast and plastic molded parts...Thats what tends to make them smoother and more precise , then the plastic and cast stuff
I just ordered the Robby Moto, I paid $180, and everything is billet aluminum......Thats a great value for all billet parts, compared to the Motion pro that is made of cheaper materials for only $30 less....
Ive installed the Motion Pro its a good kit, it works well, its one of the cheaper options...Its just not the highest quality part out there, some people like myself want more
Also a benefit of having a aluminum throttle tube, is they dont tend to break apart like the plastic ones in a crash...This can mean the difference between riding or not after a crash....As a shattered throttle tube will prevent you from riding....
