Question about mods

I don't want to go crazy on the mods just yet. But when I do I want to make sure Ive done enough research to know what I'm getting into first. I can do some slight mods to personalize it without spending a arm and a leg doing it. Just adding a few "girlie" touches to it. Even if I got a black bike and had a pink LED kit with pink decals would work fine for now. I'm starting off with a smaller bike and I KNOW within a year or 2 I will be wanting bigger and more power, I also don't want to get something that is so big that I can't control it. I think I would max out at 600cc. But who knows.

I love this site btw! Everyone is so friendly. :)

Taste is subjective, but i much prefer the Black bike / pink rims look.

As others have stated, if you paint the original fairings, it will be a tough re-sell. People most often associate painted fairings with a bike that has previous crash history.

Since you are new to riding - Maybe get a second set or try the "plasti-dip" stuff mentioned above.

Thats a pic of my 750, why would you have to go and do that to the poor bike??

..and I am starting to agree with Tom C

I'd advise learning to ride first before you turn this into a Barbie accessory lifestyle. It's not a toy.

my troll sense is tingling

lol, I've have name for mine too

Don't forget to re-register the bike in the new colour, or just register it as "multi coloured" so you won't have to worry about registration again if you ever get sick of pink. Just takes a few minutes at a Service Ontario location and a few bucks (I think $10)

I paid free last time.

Barbie?? Seriously? Don't judge if you don't know. Just because I am a girl and I like pink does NOT make me a "BARBIE GIRL" I'm a MOM not a tramp. I just want to enjoy riding just as much as the next GUY and add few personal FEMALE touches to, is that so wrong? I think NOT. Besides it was ONLY a question, so leave your offending Barbie comments to your self...Thanks :D
