push present?

Have to agree with that too. 9000 cat pics or selfies aren't cool

I post endless pics of my dog just so people won't send me any more kid pictures. Every time I get a kid pic I spam them with dog pictures. They finally got the hint and I don't get them anymore.

Send them crotch shots

I don't get these people that give up doing things because of kids. You just need to get them involved doing them with you. Kids love riding bikes, so take them riding with you. Ok, they can't ride a motorbike on the road with you, but everyone can ride in the dirt.

Having kids can be fun because if you let them, they'll make you feel like a kid too.

For me having my boys is now starting to pay off I got the best snowblower ever 2 manpower never breaks down and snow is done before I get home or get up.

On a serious note to each their own my younger brother has no kids and yes sometimes I am envious with his spontaneous trips and free lifestyle. Kids are what you make them high maintenance or not and it is a crap shoot you can do all the right things and they still turn out bad. I guess I am lucky, one is a soccer player and the other studying to be a doctor. Yes like others said had a period in my life when it was all about the kids stopped riding for 10 years but I sure am making up for lost time now being carefree and wreckless as ever and those that know me can vouch. Best thing is house will be empty soon and it's time to start emptying the bucket list. That Electroglide is looking mighty fine for cross country trip with the wife.

before kids I rode my mountain and road bike, skied, fished , vacationed in Florida and the Caribbean, BBQ'd and had weekends up north with the boys camping.
After kids I taught them to ride bikes, ski, took them fishing and we had some awesome family vacay, and some times grandma would keep the kids for grownup trip, and the boys that had kids brought them camping and we still had boys weekends for the kid less, drink to much and smoke crowd. My wife is a very good sport.
I avoid facebook and I think endless kid pictures are creepy. But I'm interested in my friends kids because we all want the best for our kids and like to celebrate successes and milestones.

They sure didnt end my life or even make it harder, they just made it different.

why don't you guys just agree that kids are not for everyone?
If you have kids and like them then great.
If you have no kids and don't want any, great.
If you have kids and don't like them then leave but keep paying your child support and then some, own up to your mistakes no sense making them miserable and feeling unwanted. It's not their fault.

Personally, I think kids are great fun. Speak to them as you would an adult and if you are a boring person to begin with then they are just responding to you.
If you are fun or try to be then they will also be.

Yes, some kids are miserable likely due to parents but that's not the kid's fault so just feel sorry for the kids and move along.

My brother used to hate kids until he have 2 of his own now. He's always been a hypocrite though

I was serious about banning them from flights.....
A long long time ago I decoded it was a good idea to come here to visit via greyhound from outside St Louis Missouri. From stl all the way to friggin buffalo starting at 11 pm a young lady with 3 kids under the age of 5 was on the bus and they all took turns crying. There was not one happy traveler or driver on that route. So I hear your complaint about the flight.

I'd take that any day over the tinkling and buzzing noises of somebody's headphones. That's like having induced extra strength tinnitus.

At least on the bus you can get off.
On the plane you cant. lol

It's a "problem" for us cause the in-laws are from newfieland, so driving there is a great concept but that means a very fkin long journey by car. And an expensive one because of the fkin ferry thats costs an arm and a ball.
"What's that? A flight direcltly to deer lake, NF is 3 hours instead of 20+ hours of driving with a baby and your round ticket costs 100$ more than the ferry by itself? Oh and baby flies for free?"
It's a no brainer...in a LOT of cases lol

And that's the thing, some people will complain that parents cant do anything with their baby and become boring, or that the babies disturb everyone and parents are selfish when they bring the baby somewhere with them, baby this baby that.
In the end everybody has an opinion about what you should be doing with your own goddam life.
