Thought it was about time I posted up a pic of my ride. Taken whilst in Namibia (2011).

Our original plan was to head north thru' Egypt & Syria, hence carrying the 2nd rear from South Africa. With the turmoil in N.Africa around the time we planned on riding thru', we decided to ship the bikes back to Canada and fly to Europe for the summer before coming back. I ended up selling that rear tire to a bike shop in Nairobi for a bit more than I paid for it in SA; however lugged it around for a few months.

Not mounted, just hanging off my neck. Scratched a whole lot of paint off the gas tank (but I trashed the fairings in a crash anyways). Also broke the UV lens filter in a different crash.
