FJ was an excellent bike, I started on this fabulous 5 valver of the same year...

"Even better..is the bike come with the quick shifter- pull or push"?

The S1000R has a quick shifter for up shifts only.

Beautiful bike. How do you like that pipe? I bought one for mine and sold it 2 minutes later. Was way too loud for my liking.

Yeah, its loud. Really loud. I do like the sound of the V4 though! I kept the Akra exhaust that it replaced so that I can reinstall that when I get tired of the loud. lol

Yeah, I bought it to replace my long Akra can as well, it was ear piercing loud though. Couldn't stand it for the 30 seconds it was on the bike.

The Akra is nice but its so long, and not much different on this bike than stock in terms of sound. I'm looking into a shortened akra can, to solve both "problems"!

The Akra is nice but its so long, and not much different on this bike than stock in terms of sound. I'm looking into a shortened akra can, to solve both "problems"!

I cut down my Akra can, not only does it look better, it sounds nicer too. There is a thread on the aprilia forum that has step by step instructions. It wasn't hard to do.
