I've never heard a good review or an engine builder reccomend a reusable oil filter. Just food for thought. I wouldn't put one on my bikes.

Terrible Idea and terrible filtration, throw that in the garbage. I deal with filters for a living and that is a gravel trap not a filter. Any cheap paper filter will outperform that by a wide margin.

Anorxic has it on his bike but he's on another site, I have heard nothing but good things about this but I guess that I will have to see!

One of the issues is it is not a depth filter just a screen if it was a depth filter it couldn't be cleaned. Any particle that is smaller around than the mesh no matter how long can go right through there is a reason mesh isn't used for filtration.

I trust engine builders and people that deal with these types of things daily over another rider that has a brojillion miles and no issues. I happily spend the $12 for an oem filter to protect my motors.

You may never have a problem and it's your bike, I'm just throwing my $0.02 in.

Understandable & thanks for the feedback guys, I haven't put it on the bike yet because I just had fresh oil & filter put in, I will try this one out next oil change & I will see what the results will be & make up my mind!

Just curious, how exactly are you going to check the results?

Nice...if you don't mind asking you where did you purchase the Yammi fz09? Btw looks really sharp with the blue rims!
at Snow City - They had a demo one for a good price

Ever so often I come across posts about blown engines and I always wonder what could have caused it; I guess a reusable filter will do but that detail never gets mentioned. Why buy a expensive bike and then try to save a few dollars on a oil filter or oil?

here's my new lid. rpha 10 in matte black, bro-in-law has same one so i decided to change mine up a bit.
