Mastercraft Maximum inspection camera on sale for $99

Confirmed my doubts that cylinder 1 is the one that's eating most of my precious oil on the FJ

Neat little camera but I wish there was a way to save snapshots to a memory card. As it stands I'm taking pics of the screen with my phone. Not optimal.

I bought the slightly cheaper one from them. General DCS050 USB to the laptop. Snaps and video saved to the laptop.

Xlent purchase I'm sure. Adding a little perspective, I was right into MX early to mid '90's and clearly remember when the 1993 YZ250 came out. It blew everybody away. Even tho your new to you bike is 15yr. old it's still 10 years newer than the 1993 bike everybody raved about. The 1989 CR125 was another standout and it's only half size of your bike. You want to clean the plastics? Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. No kidding. I thought my current IMS tank was a goner in the looks dept. (personally I don't mind a patina but onlookers, ugg, amirite) Anyway, enough of my babbling. Enjoy the ride.

Ah that is a good tip, thanks, want one back? Use the tire / engine cleaner at the coin car wash, it cleans all the grease and dirt like nothing else, friend gave me that tip this week, tried it out on the YZ and it's clean like if I had taken it apart.

The YZ250 still is the ****.... Aka best 2 stroke out there.

Sweet! Love the yz, it's an awesome bike.

Thanks, I freaking love that bike and I just rode it for 5 min in the park beside my house.

Been looking for that bike for over a year now.

What happened to the Kawi?

Come out to ride with us again. Dave has a YZ250X and I have a YZ250FX now. We're riding Wed at Gore Rd MX.

Nice score. Sold my WR last weekend but still have the YZ450 (with a full FMF 4.1 system for it on the way). Always keeping an eye out for a YZ250 2T deal for the garage. They really are the best 250 2smokes available.

I still have the kawi and put a rekluse on it so looking forward to using that one as well - I will come out for sure, you guys just let me know when. But Wed I am working :) weekends I can come out.

There is an 07 on Kijiji right now, very low hours with some gearing issue for 2500. If I hadn't just bought one I would be jumping all over that, these bikes are ridiculously cheap to fix

I always avoid anything with transmission issues because I don't have the skill to fix it myself and don't know how the repair bill will bloom once opened up.

Here is all you need to know about cleaning dirt bikes...go buy some shout.

Yes the same shout used to get stains out of clothes. So anyways rinse the bike down to get the heavy dirt off it, now spray the damp bike down in shout and wait 5 minutes or however long it takes you drink a beer. Rinse off with decent pressure and I promise you'll be blown away how clean it is and the best part is you don't even have to scrub the thing. Your hubs, frame, engine, plastics everything turns out like new.

Really?? gonna have to try it, but the tire/engine thingy at the coin car wash worked really well

There is a guy north of whitby that repairs dirt bikes for 10$ an hour. There is nothing to lose lol. I get what you are saying

I bet you won't use anything else again. The yellow tire spray or whatever does work decent at the coin op, I actually used it on my supermoto engine and swingarm yesterday but I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. If you have any real heavy grease or oil build up around the swingarm chain side or have some unburnt 2 stroke oil from a breather line hit it with a little kerosense in those spots first then do what I said before.

Heard about Shout but they were out so I grabbed a big jug of Simple Green HD Cleaner Degreaser. Works well and is non-corrosive unlike regular Simple Green. Lasting forever too!
