I meant Israel. Obama administration so far has been firm about not wanting Israel to strike without the allies approval. The US is in no shape to start another armed conflict, IMO.

Whoeee, the way things are going over there, its bound to happen. USA can condone or condemn Israels pre-emptive attack all they want, Israel has shown that they dont give a rats ***. They WILL pre-emptively strike at anyone they consider a threat. When a neighbouring country is actively seeking/developing a Nuclear arsenal and is calling for Israel being wiped from the face of the earth, it kinda puts things into different perspective.

Oh dude, i'm not condoning their nuclear arsenal, or their illegal expansion into Palestine. All i'm saying is, the way Israel looks at it, they are surrounded by hostile countries, which have, in the past, attacked them. Israel has shown that they will preemptively strike. With more and more countries surround Israel falling into Muslim radical power who have no qualms to openly call for Israels distruction, they will use any and all powers necessary to protect themselves.

Look at it this way. All your neighbours are crazy and constantly been saying they will kill you, your family and move into your house. Whether that house was theirs or they consider it sacred is irrelevant at this point because you are living there. Would you not go and get any and all protection you can, whether some higher up says its a no-no....screw it, if that was the case i know i'd be arming myself to the teeth and placing 50 cal machine guns where all my neighbours will see them and know not to mess with me.

They've done that already (Israel that is) and if you think Iran wants to commit suicide by attacking Israel then go ahead and believe that...personally, I think Iran wants to make sure the same thing as happened to Iraq doesn't happen to them.

Hmmm I kind of think they are only pushing themselves further towards the risk of that happening by trying to arm themselves with a nuke. Wasn't getting WMD's out of the hands of Saddam the justification for the Iraq invasion?
