Police seek motorcyclist who fled from Lawrence Avenue crash

Baseless from your pov maybe, I regularly interview co-ops .... your pov is from?

This is what passes for data in your world?

A HS diploma counted for nothing "in my day" and still doesn't.

Show me the stats that prove statements like #3. I call bull####, we can argue stats all day long. Tell me what, show me the many jobs in the computer industry that existed when I was pounding the pavement with my resume in hand....

I'm, glad to see you didn't strain yourself to address my point on mortgage rates or the increase in what we consider to be a "standard of living". Seems to me, most figure 2 cars and a cottage are a minimum, not to mention a tv per room and computer in my phone etc....

You know next to nothing of me so yes you could say this ... lol!

But what's your point? Resorting to personal bashing is the first sign of a losing argument....

Says the guy whose point so far have been "they are probably complaining from an iphone while eating out".

I don't take your point about interest rates seriously because its a poor point.
A high interest rate is completely different than a high price. One can be much more effectively eliminated by saving more early and having a bigger down payment, and the other has a much higher interest rate + price fluxuation risk.

I can call you lazy the same way you call young people lazy, except when I say it I know its just insulting, you like to pretend its a fact.

PS I interview entry level law applicants, some are lazy, some are hungry. But I know that in the last 20-30 years, targets have gone up (where they didn't exist before), hours have gone up, demand for time has gone up (especially since email and smartphones), and the book of business requirement has gone up.

#3 is easy and self evident by women entering the workforce, which goes along with #4.

Every economic indicator shows that the middle class is competing for a smaller piece of the pie, but you give the uphill both ways talk to anyone you want if it helps you sleep at night.
PS. Canada has been laggin behind every industialized country in productivity for a long time, maybe you should have been working harder in your youth.

For a lawyer, you don't listen very well and make excellent use of both inference and innuendo, you are your own stereotype my friend.

I never said it was easy now, nor do I think it ever has been. You're quoting prices for homes with full services, typically more than one bathroom, transit, roads and infrastructure, do you not think these things have a price?

The 'average' home from "better days" you're quoting on probably wouldn't sell in todays market, too small and insufficient hydro service to support the many toys now deemed 'necessities'.

Work demands? Lol! I spent far too many years on pager and missing sleep "working the problem to solution" to bear that whine from a lawyer.... You may see a change from your ivory tower but the working masses have been there with back to back 12 hour swing shifts etc., working "until the job is done" etc. Ever hear of work ethic? I don;t see or hear much of that these days...

Let's agree to disagree and move along, I wouldn't want to say something that may result in a libel suite, I WORK for my money. LOL!

I think we hijacked a thread that was never going to be answered. Sorry.

Back on topic: people who would abandon a buddy in an accident just to avoid a ticket are scum of the earth. Done. ;)

All you have in this entire thread is stereotypes and no facts of your own.

If you idea of work ethic is a 12 hr shift. then I am glad today's generation doesnt' have your work ethic. What a joke. You couldn't do my hrs for 2 weeks.

Would you mind to stop thread jacking by any chance?

12 hour shifts are light!

How many parallel feeds of 350 kcm can you pull in 12?

My chores growing up included splitting and piling wood (by hand), what's the bet your most strenuous was loading the dishwasher?. ;)

Dude, in all seriousness, you don't know me from Adam or what I'm capable of. You want to talk endurance, I grew up on a farm, I put myself through university by playing nights in a rock band and doing handyman jobs. Long hours? Whatever.
