Mike, I have no further interest and no investment in changing your views. If you think fundamental religious people aren't interested in pushing their beliefs and converting others, and that it's an okay idea to mix religion and government, go right ahead. It's your right to have an opinion.

Um Schneller, I never said that religions people aren't interested in pushing their beliefs. What you did was make a classic self refuting statement and that is what I responded to.
What I said was that your belief that people shouldn't push their beliefs on others is in fact itself a belief, and to apply it against other groups means your statement is self refuting/defeating.
Again, It is self-refuting because you are taking YOUR belief (that someone shouldn't push their beliefs on others), and pushing that belief on others by condemning religious or any other group that doesn't accept your worldview.
I went on further to describe that the very society you live in, and also the more socialist one you seem to espouse/condone, does nothing but impose belief systems on others through laws, government, etc.
So either you believe it or you don't. You can't just believe it for "others" who don't agree with you. That's called hypocrisy.
