Many dealers are selling used cars uncertified and they (the honest ones!) are upfront about it, stating that the car is "as-is".Nice.
I like VW wagons.
If you bought it from the dealer shouldn't they be selling it certified?
Also 6sp manualThe Diesel. Nice.
Yeah, it has a new ad-blue tank.If you want a good look, perjad at Precision Tuning in Vaughan knows euro cars. For a rubber stamp, somewhere like Canadian tire is less likely to use aa safety as an opportunity for revenue generation by forcing work.
Did that one need adblue?

When I owned a 2.5 Rabbit (the 5 cyl model) my go-to shop was Techmaxx Auto in 'Sauga. They specialize in the german makes.
The sale of that car was a mistake for me to, especially since I had the overlay of the Audi program on the CPU and a stage 1 chip by Pfaff and a tuned exhaust. That 5 cylinder (half a Lamborghini was the best engine ever. I loved my 2.5L Rabbit. Should never have sold it.
Nice looking wagon, should save you some $$ if you have a longer commute, emissions are the killers on all newer diesels though. Get it tuned if possible will wake the car up alot and more fun to drive. I have a 03 jetta wagon 5 speed slightly modified and get 1400km highway driving or 1000-1200km mixed. Have fun with it.Just picked this car up for a song and dance.
Wondering if anyone would know of a decent shop that would be able to do a certification
Not looking to do a delete, but wouldn’t say no to a mild tune.Nice looking wagon, should save you some $$ if you have a longer commute, emissions are the killers on all newer diesels though. 03 was the sweet spot for mileage without being gutless. Newer than that had a lot more power and a lot worse mileage (the best tank on my 13 was worse that the worst tank on my 03).Nice looking wagon, should save you some $$ if you have a longer commute, emissions are the killers on all newer diesels though. You tell us. I've never driven an ad blue tdi. Probably something under 6 l/100km at 120. Go slower and it improves. What am i looking at on hwy cruise on at 100kph for mileage?
For sure last year of the alh, such an basic motor built to last and easy to work on.03 was the sweet spot for mileage without being gutless. Newer than that had a lot more power and a lot worse mileage (the best tank on my 13 was worse that the worst tank on my 03).
