PETA vs Mario

There was a time many years ago when PETA was a good organization that was logical, rational and promoted good practices. Then they went all loopy and lost the respect of 99.9% of the sane population. The crap they come out with is so outrageous. I grew up watching Looney Tunes. But you don't see me thinking it's ok to drop anvils on peoples' heads. So why on earth would a kid playing Super Mario suddenly beat and skin alive one of these animals? It's not promoting animal cruelty, FFS.

why didn't they make a big deal about angry birds either? Killing pigs by throwing birds on a slingshot....

I guess cause angry birds and pigs are not as cute as a skinned racoon dog???

They saved them from a horrible life of being loved by an adoptive family. They took them from third party shelters claiming that they were placing them in homes (when the shelters were finding homes for them as well) and killed them in the back of a van before illegally dumping them in a garbage can. Peta does not want people to have pets, live stock or use animals to perform labour. PETA has nothing to do with the adoption of animals, they "report" an 83% kill ratio, how many are they dumping illegally?

And yet they say nothing about the billions of earthworms, voles, and field mice who are slain, every year, to support their vegetarian lifestyle.

Collateral damage to innocent ground and sub-ground critters who are caught up in and slaughtered by the machines and processes that harvest the grains and veggies which PETA members eat.

I was born a vegetarian (whole family is) and I hate PETA and born again vegetarians/vegans. They are the ****ing worst! Preaching what other people should eat.. who gives a **** what everyone else eats ffs.

Interesting. All the years as a vegetarian I never "preached" at anyone about what they eat. I couldn't care less. I don't know any vegans and vegetarians that do preach at anyone. I have had issues with psycho meat eaters who get their panties all up in a knot about vegetarianism, though.

My favourite:
Meat eater: "Why don't you eat meat?"
Me: "Why don't you shoot up heroin?"
Meat eater: "I don't want that crap in my body."
Me: "Well then...?
Meat eater: (look of realization crosses their face)
