I was thinking of getting a dog but I only have a bike as a means of transportation. I was wondering if anyone has ever seen a dog with a harness strapped to a rider on a sport bike. I know I have seen dogs on cruisers either in a special seat at the back. Anything out there that could work for a sport bike. I was thinking of something like a german shephard.

A german shepard? .. i can't even fathom that as a concept of a dog being on a motorcycle.
Most varieties of dog that i've seen on a bike itself have been of the tea-cup variety, or small breeds.
No way would i even consider taking a 75-100 lb dog with me, unless in the sidecar - and even then it'd be strapped/restrained in place to keep it from bailing at speed, at the first sight of a cat or rival dog...

A shepherd may be tricky for space, hope he doesn't try and chase a cat when you stop...
We used to have a guy in the town I live in with a side car modified for his big dog. they built a cage over the passenger area to contain the dog. Not sure if he is still around? I haven't seen him in a long time

the cage is a good idea. and i just found some sport bike side cars online so this could work. thanks
probably easier to just rent a car on days when you need to move a dog around.
