Isn't Oprah racist for assuming the the salesperson was racist?
Maybe the salesperson didn't think that fat stupid people could afford expensive items, regardless of colour?
Or maybe she was trying to save Oprah from her own stupidity?

"Talk show host Oprah Winfrey says she encountered racism while shopping in Switzerland — and the national tourism office agrees.

The media mogul, who is one of the world’s richest women, told the U.S. program Entertainment Tonight that a shop assistant in Zurich refused to show her a handbag because it was “too expensive” for her.

Forbes magazine estimates that Winfrey earned $77-million in the year ending in June.

A spokeswoman for the Swiss tourism office, Daniela Baer, told The Associated Press on Friday “we are very sorry for what happened to her.”"

The tourism office also posted an apology on Twitter, saying “this person acted terribly wrong.”
 
Oprah is a strong woman. If anybody can survive this, she can. Mark my words.

Survive the humiliation and degradation. No person should have to endure that. How can it not be a race issue? Every time a person of race is treated poorly it's a race issue. And how come poor people have to be associated with the term "poorly"? Haven't they suffered enough already? Especially the poor Blacks? There's no silver lining on this black cloud. Courage brother.

This white/black racism thing is such a broken record.

Indian and Chinese people have had the $h1t end of the racism stick for MANY more years and you don't hear them publicly complain about it.

Perhaps the clerk was merely pointing out that the OWN network has struggled and was loosing money up until July. Dont worry Oprah just keep on working hard and you too will be able to afford a $38,000 purse.
