FYI it looks like it may be some very light rain. I would go so far as calling it spittle. Not enough in my opinion to call the ride today off. I'm doing my best to finish up my work in order to meet up at the arranged time.

Yes, it was spitting a bit before I left home. Arrived and met sid_for_speed. Nice guy. We rode through Twyn Rivers, around Bear Road and to the Meadowvale/Sheppard Petro-Can. The rain started getting onto the scene, so we cut the ride short.

Oh well... the most important gain and bonus for the day is a new riding friend. :p

Sorry mjack. I woke up at 9am on Monday. Shower, breakfast, suit up and escaped.

The ride was extended in one way... however, just what you might expect, in another way. We rode for maybe 2 hours and over 80 km. If it were a larger group, we might have rode a bit less... really hard to say.

The ride ended around 1:30pm. And was well worth it.

Hey LenaLena, the ride was very good! The weather was ideal for riding without sweating.

Yes, maybe others will show up next time. I will certainly keep you posted for other rides.

For the weekend, I now have you as a riding friend, and one other from Sunday afternoon.

Sorry to hear you are overheating. If it was your bike, I would suggest to add water or change the thermostat. But it is thy rider in pain. Well the stores are closed today and fevers take time to subside. Neither fix is available until Tuesday. :violent1:

I hope you feel better soon and I look forward to seeing you on a future ride. :o
